We develop and manufacture life jackets and buoys since 1998 - Safety equipment for work situations, leisure, adventure and extreme water sports. All our products are certified and controlled by rigorous testing in accordance with the Brazilian Navy standards.
Through our internal laboratory, engineers and skilled professionals are constantly searching new trends and technologies for the maritime market. We use high-strength materials and state-of-the-art machinery to ensure that our products are always synonymous of quality and safety.
The company JT ATIVA NAUTICA is the first Brazilian life jackets manufacturer to be certified by the Quality Management System ISO 9001. In 2010, we renewed the ISO 9001:2008 certification, awarded by the worldwide recognized DNV - Det Norske Veritas.
Develop and produce the most safe and comfortable life jackets and buoys, with social and environmental responsibility, aiming to surpass the expectations of our customers, employees, suppliers and society.
We encourage every day the use of safety equipment through our products, people and actions to convey trust and credibility to save lives.
Safety, Quality, Transparency and Ethics.
The JT ATIVA Company collaborates with the environment at all stages of its production process. All wasted materials are reused and/or recycled. The factory facilities are designed to reduce environmental impacts. The floor around the building is completely permeable to capture rain water and saved in a cistern for reuse.
The use of daylight to illuminate almost 80% of the manufacturing plant allows us to keep the use of electricity at a minimum. Fabric patches are reused by cooperatives and small garment businesses. The unused foam goes straight back to the supplier for recycling, as well as plastic buckles, straps and ropes. All the recyclable waste is properly disposed and sent to a local recycling cooperative.
JT ATIVA Company is committed to promote safety at sea, environmental education and water campaigns. Aware of its importance in the whole of society, we also take part of public debates organized by the Brazilian Navy on safety for amateur and professional sailing.
